You havent been happy with it since release and even with the myriad of improvements, you still seem unhappy. It may just be time for you to start focusing on UFC 4 or a new game in a new genre at this point. In fact, Ive heard multiple people complain here and other places that stats on the ground mean too much. Stats seem to mean alot especially when it comes to control in grappling. If youve never seen a grappler get an easy takedown after rocking/stunning someone, you probably havent watched a ton of MMA. Id say the majority or 90% of the people playing this game don't even know there are like 60 different kickboxing combos buried beneath a terrible ui. Your sceanario applies to the 10% of players who bothered to memorize all the animations. They have been terrrible and will stay terrible since this games inception. Ive fought people who have memorized every single damn animation in this game, it doesn't matter what character they chose they will block all your transitions.Īs for subs, ill just lol at that. I haven't seen many people get a guaranteed takedown off a stun either but whatever. It happens occasionally but its rare because the person who gets rocked is more concerned about getting KO'd than defending against a takedown. Thats why i dont have a problem with it.įrom a realism perspective, I havent seen a ton of guys get rocked and then immediately defend a takedown. So in your example, your opponent is making an extremely bad strategic decision. So there is a good chance that you will be able to get back to your feet or sub him. So your opponent just took a worse path to actually beating you than if he just kept it standing and tried to finish you.Ģ) Conor has a low top game and sub D rating. Conor rocks you and for some reason he decides to take you down, right?ġ) Conor is significantly worse on the ground than on his feet. So you are facing someone with Conor McGregor at LW. This game is terrible enough on the ground and now you want to make it so its undeniable and we can't stop from going there if rocked? Who in their right mind thought undeniable take downs were a good idea. Conor mcgregor is going to be scoring undeniable double leg takedowns.
